Data Deletion Instructions

1. Overview

This page explains how to request deletion of your LofiLedger account and associated personal data. You can either delete your account yourself from within the app or send us a request by email. Both options result in the same outcome.

2. What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Your account record and login credentials
  • Any personal data and preferences tied to your user ID
  • Your subscription link in our system (see section 5 below)
  • Usage and analytics records associated with your account

Deletion is processed within 30 days of request, except where we are legally required to retain certain records (see section 5).

3. Option 1: Delete Your Account In-App

The fastest way to delete your account is directly from your account settings:

  1. Sign in at lofiledger.com/login.
  2. Navigate to Dashboard → Account.
  3. Scroll to the Danger Zone section at the bottom of the page.
  4. Click Delete Account, then confirm with Yes, delete my account.

If you have an active premium subscription: please cancel your Paddle subscription through the Paddle Billing Portal before deleting your account. This prevents continued billing after your account is gone. The in-app delete button will be disabled while an active subscription is detected.

4. Option 2: Request Deletion by Email

If you are unable to sign in or prefer to request deletion manually, send us an email:

  • To: support@lofiledger.com
  • Subject: Delete my account
  • From: the email address registered to your LofiLedger account (so we can verify ownership)

We will confirm receipt and complete deletion within 30 days. If we need additional information to verify your identity, we will reply to the same email thread.

5. Retention Exceptions

Some records may be retained after account deletion where we are legally required to keep them, for example:

  • Payment and invoice records needed for tax and accounting obligations
  • Records required to resolve disputes or enforce our Terms of Service

Aggregated, non-personal usage data that cannot be tied back to you may also be retained for up to 12 months to help us improve the Service.
